First day of week five.

Siding crew is actively putting up the new siding.  With our supervisor at another job site, a quick stroll to check their progress found they had put up the belly board and trim with the woodgrain side out (as opposed to the smooth side to match the rest of the siding).  Made sure they discarded the already-nailed pieces as they will have to replace them on their nickel.

Plumbers reported that the basement had water in it this morning due to the temperature pressure relief (TPR) valve on the water heater doing its job (vs. having the water heater explode).  Apparently,  the new water lateral had significantly more pressure than the galvanized (which was probably partially plugged due to rust/etc).  Plumbers put a pressure regulator on the line today.

The plumbers are installing the other boiler vent pipe as well as finishing some of the other water-related plumbing items.

Still trying to work out the new electrical feed which will be placed on the back (north side) of the barn.  We either trench or bring it through the barn, depending on cost.  The new panel is now in-service.
