Two surprises to start day twenty two.  First, water in the basement.  Apparently, one of the sweats near the new pressure regulator didn't quite hold. Thankfully, it was only a couple gallons of water contained to the area where the new boiler will be installed.

Second surprise, the new windows ordered for the north wall of the apartment are the wrong size.  Architect drawing shows a 4-0 window but a 5-0 window is there today.  The contractor now has two 4-0 windows for future use.  Hopefully, Pella can get the two 5-0 windows turned-around quickly.

Siding work continued with the only hold-up being installation of the new windows on the back porch and the back of the apartment.  Thinking the back porch windows arrive tomorrow.  Now, if I can just have a carpenter here for more than a few hours...

Plumbers started installation of the new boiler and the five heat zones.

Electricians worked on the upstairs of the apartment all day and are almost finished with that section.  More holes in the wall than I was hoping for in the beginning.  They are now saying the drywall crew can apply a "California Patch" to the now drilled-out holes vs. hammer-induced ones of the past.
