Day fourteen - the plumbers are plumbing and the laborer is laboring but supervisor is nowhere in sight.  Expecting the electricians to be here this morning to start planning out their attack on getting the house re-wired.  Thinking we will get them to temporarily fix the cut wire as it affects the hallway, front porch, dining room and office.  Much more than first thought (and not good that the one knob and tube circuit with multiple branches carries so much load).  Having the laborer put down paper throughout the first floor and the stairway as the sub traffic is going to increase over the next week or two.  Not looking forward to the HVAC guys cutting four new holes in the second floor ceiling for the evaporative cooler vents.

Incredibly busy day with plumbers, electricians, HVAC, supervisor, laborer and even the port-o-john company on-site.  Everyone was everywhere so the word for the day is "dusty".  Was uncomfortable with the location of several hot water pipes being run in the corner of the kitchen as it would require a chase to be built.  After much deliberation, we found a spot in the newly furred-out wall.  Much better than what was being proposed.

Electrical - Miguel and Larry were here for the first time and started off by repairing the cut wires. We then did a walk-around talking about the basic approach that they will be taking.  Full electrical walk is tomorrow.

Construction - Progress by the HVAC guys and some work on door framing.  Seems I keep losing my supervisor to another job.

Heating - First floor hot water lines are complete.  Feel bad for Brian as he had to spend an incredibly long time in a really bad section of crawl space.  Hot water lines are now starting to work their way to the second floor.
