Day two.  Laborer and supervisor on-site at 7am.  Continued demolition of the kitchen and first floor bathroom.  Water will be cut off most of the day to allow for removal of pipes that are no longer needed.  Openings to crawl space to be enlarged to allow access for the various trades.  Will require the installation of a header to support floor joists.

Demolition included the remainder of the kitchen, the first floor bathroom and the start of the breakfast nook walls.  The header was installed over the wider opening to the crawl space and some of the plumbing was removed/capped.

Day ended with everyone gone and no water to the one good bathroom.  Called supervisor who had to get the plumbers back on-site.  As it turns out, they capped the hot and cold water pipes that happened to be shared with the first floor bath that was demolished today.  Of course nothing is easy and it took them about an hour and a half to put everything back.   All is well.
