Start of day seven.  Reviewed plan with construction supervisor and yesterday's faux pas in removing the hardwood flooring in the new first floor bathroom.  It all started when the plumbers needed to run the hot water heat line and wanted to know if the floor stayed as-is or was going to be removed.  The drawing indicated a tile floor when our plan was to re-use the existing hardwood.  Supervisor called contractor and contractor said to rip it out as they would need to install backer-board.  Not sure who has to pay to replace it.

Morning meeting with kitchen designer to sign-off on design which will be ordered Thursday.  Expecting 4-6 week lead time for cabinets to arrive.

Demolition included closets in both apartment bedrooms and the apartment bathroom as well as the wall heater on the first floor.  Looks like plumbers started running new water lines which are flexible red and blue plastic (not copper).

With so many areas in complete ruin, it makes it hard to imagine everything being put back together.  Looking forward to the end of demolition and the start of real construction.
