Walking around tonight, I said to Wendy "In looking at all of this, you would almost think we knew what we were doing".  In reality, we didn't have a clue and seemed to make things up as we went along.  But believe it or not, it has turned out incredibly well.

Yet another busy day with the plaster guy laying down a final coat in the second floor bathroom and two electricians putting the final touches on the main part of the house.  Appliances were finally pulled out of the garage and installed.

A thorough scrubbing by the cleaning crew this afternoon had the kitchen ready for use this evening for the first time in fourteen weeks.

Painters made yet another big assault on a day where the temperature dropped about 20 degrees.  With the possibility of snow, they'll have to cease painting the exterior tomorrow and finish up some interior work.

With just some cats and dogs to chase down over the next week or two, we are finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.
