Another full day of paint prep with some actual latex getting applied in the upstairs bedrooms in the apartment.  It's expected they'll work through Saturday to get the back part of the house and the apartment finished and then move on to the main part of the house where they'll paint the entry, master bedroom and the upstairs hallway and bath.   Had considered doing a great deal of these areas myself, but when I did the math on the price they offered, and after seeing the amount of prep work they do, I realized my time is worth significantly more than what they were going to charge us.

HVAC guy was here again and installed the down vent for the stove hood.  The trim carpenter then installed the vent itself.

Plumbers installed the sink in the apartment bath and then proceeded to dismantle the one working bathroom.  We are now using the apartment bathroom sans lights and a shower door.  They also finished installing all of the baseboard heaters and I'm thinking they also connected the swamp cooler water access lines.

Next Monday is expected to be especially hectic with the electricians back to start hanging lights, the flooring guy to start finishing the hardwoods, the kitchen installer to finish his trade, the painters moving to the front part of the house as well as the trim carpenter.  The neo-Con tile installer will be back to fix his muff in the kitchen (he installed a few glossy tiles amongst the flat ones) as well as finish the tile up to the stove vent.
