Light snow in Coorstown this morning set the stage for a freezing house while the father/son plumbing crew of Dave and Darrell (aka Laurel and Hardy) wrestled with the new cast iron tub in the second floor bathroom.  An all day job that shouldn't have taken all day.  My confidence in the tub actually holding water and not dripping on our pantry below is extremely low.  The big test will take place tomorrow.  When I overheard them blaming our expensive faucet selection for their inability to install the tub correctly, a quick call to the supervisor has these two goobers gone as of tomorrow as our definition of quality isn't equating to their attention to detail.  We have been told that we will be getting one of our original installers back to finish the rest of the plumbing work.

The painters continued their work in the back portion of the house with wall paint now being applied.  Thought we were going to have the apartment bath finished today but no such luck.  Had to crank the heat up as the paint is taking extremely long to dry.

Supervisor will be back tomorrow to work on trim and start on the outside of the house.

We are now tracking to have everything inside the house finished by the end of next week or the week after with exterior painting taking place in two weeks, weather permitting.
